Shoulder Fractures encompass a spectrum of injuries which include the clavicle or collarbone, the AC joint and the proximal humerus.  Each injury has a separate treatment regimen which depends on the severity of the injury and overall physical demands of the patient.  The most important part of dealing with these injuries is understanding the natural history of the injury and how it will heal with or without surgical intervention.
